About me

I design for regulated products. Fintech, insurtech, systems where trust has to be built in at the product’s core.

When things are ambiguous I don't wait for a spec. I write one myself, backed by UX principles and competitive research, so there's a real reason behind the work before anyone opens Figma or an IDE.

I skip the typical design-to-dev handoff. I sit with engineers from day one, rally the team around a shared vision, test what's actually feasible, and resolve disagreements before they become a Slack thread nobody reads.

Alignment early conserves capacity. Alignment late costs you in rework.

Former D1 diver at Berkeley, masters in HCI, career spent in startups and fast-moving product teams. Shows up in how I work: performance under pressure, structured thinking, bias toward shipping over polishing in a vacuum.

Principles first. Tight partnership with engineering. Cheap alignment. That's how teams ship fast without losing trust.
